This collection of fashion accessories is, as its name says, “extremely limited”, an experimental collection that rarely passes the creative lab to a mass production phase. It is intended more as a conceptual-aesthetic research of fashion accessories in a specific cultural space, the Romanian one.
References are either direct coming from the childhood experiences of a generation or allusive to a society that has been recycling things out of need and not for ecological reasons.
The ornamental side is almost missing and the similarity (sometimes ironical) to arte povera is not accidental. The creative mechanism resides mainly in turning around the meaning of everyday objects that have apparently no connection with the field of fashion accessories. In some of the cases, ordinary forms are modified in order to reveal what they are usually hiding - signs of status that should be out in the open. Other times, the accessories were conceived to simply go against the common sense, the function apparently being completely sacrificed to form. By taking form to extremes, they become less practical but much more differential, embodying specific states of mind.
